High-Order Structure Exploration on Massive Graphs

چکیده

Modeling and exploring high-order connectivity patterns, also called network motifs, are essential for understanding the fundamental structures that control mediate behavior of many complex systems. For example, in social networks, triangles have been proven to play role communities; online transaction detecting directed looped transactions helps identify money laundering activities; personally identifiable information star-shaped may correspond a set synthetic identities. Despite ubiquity such structures, existing graph clustering methods either not designed or suffer from prohibitive computational cost when modeling large-scale networks. This article generalizes challenges multiple dimensions. First ( Model ), we introduce notion conductance, define diffusion core, which is based on random walk induced by user-specified structure. Second Algorithm propose novel structure-preserving framework named HOSGRAP , partitions into structure-rich clusters polylogarithmic time with respect number edges graph. Third Generalization generalize our proposed algorithm solve real-world problems various types graphs, as signed bipartite multi-partite graphs. Experimental results both real graphs demonstrate effectiveness efficiency algorithms.

High-Order Regularization on Graphs

The Laplace-Beltrami operator for graphs has been been widely used in many machine learning issues, such as spectral clustering and transductive inference. Functions on the nodes of a graph with vanishing Laplacian are called harmonic functions. In differential geometry, the Laplace-de Rham operator generalizes the Laplace-Beltrami operator. It is a differential operator on the exterior algebra...

THE ORDER GRAPHS OF GROUPS

Let $G$ be a group. The order graph of $G$ is the (undirected)graph $Gamma(G)$,those whose vertices are non-trivial subgroups of $G$ and two distinctvertices $H$ and $K$ are adjacent if and only if either$o(H)|o(K)$ or $o(K)|o(H)$. In this paper, we investigate theinterplay between the group-theoretic properties of $G$ and thegraph-theoretic properties of $Gamma(G)$. For a finite group$G$, we s...

Borderenergetic graphs of order 12

A graph G of order n is said to be borderenergetic if its energy is equal to 2n-2 and if G differs from the complete graph Kn. The first such graph was discovered in 2001, but their systematic study started only in 2015. Until now, the number of borderenergetic graphs of order n was determined for n

Breadth First Search on Massive Graphs

We consider the problem of Breadth First Search (BFS) traversal on massive sparse undirected graphs. Despite the existence of simple linear time algorithms in the RAM model, it was considered non-viable for massive graphs because of the I/O cost it incurs. Munagala and Ranade [29] and later Mehlhorn and Meyer [27] gave efficient algorithms (refered to as MR BFS and MM BFS, respectively) for com...

Towards Maximum Independent Sets on Massive Graphs

Maximum independent set (MIS) is a fundamental problem in graph theory and it has important applications in many areas such as social network analysis, graphical information systems and coding theory. The problem is NP-hard, and there has been numerous studies on its approximate solutions. While successful to a certain degree, the existing methods require memory space at least linear in the siz...
